Cold breeze, icy conditions on tap for Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl victory parade
The sun will shine on Philadelphia in the wake of Wednesday's storm as hundreds of thousands of fans take to the streets to celebrate the Eagles' victory in Super Bowl 52 on Thursday.
The City of Philadelphia announced that the victory parade will start at 11 a.m. on Broad street near the Sports Complex.

Officials were considering holding the parade on Wednesday. However, unsettled weather conditions featuring rain and a wintry mix would have made watching the parade in person unpleasant.
AccuWeather is projecting plenty of sunshine with a cold breeze for the parade. Fans should wear sunglasses but also bundle up.

Those heading in should allow plenty of extra time for the commute, especially when coming in from north and west of the city, due to an extended period of sleet and freezing rain from Wednesday's storm.
On Thursday, actual temperatures will peak in the lower to middle 30s F for the parade. AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures will be in the upper teens to the middle 20s from the late morning into the afternoon. RealFeel Temperatures will be lower first thing in the morning for those getting a good spot for the parade.
Pedestrians should expect patches of ice to be on some streets and sidewalks in the wake of rain from Wednesday and a freeze-up Wednesday night.
For fans staying in town, dry weather is forecast to hold on from Thursday into Friday and may hold into Saturday.

However, the team had won NFL championships prior to the creation of the Super Bowl, including against the legendary Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers in 1960.
The Eagles also faced the New England Patriots in their last Super Bowl appearance in 2004, but lost 21-24.
