Australia Easter weekend: Weather forecast from Perth to Sydney and Brisbane
A massive waterspout was spotted off the coast of Syros, a Greek Island, on April 15. As the waterspout spun in the water, hail battered the coast.
A wide variety of weather will unfold across Australia through the holiday weekend.
The good news is that no extreme weather is expected to ruin activities; however, there will be a risk for rainfall at some point into Monday in most of Australia's major cities.
Perth
After the holiday weekend started on a damp and chilly note on Friday, dry weather will return from Saturday to Monday with temperatures slowly climbing each day.
Monday will be the warmest day of the holiday weekend with a high temperature of 23 C (74 F) and plenty of sunshine.
Adelaide
Saturday will bring one more warm day to Adelaide with temperatures set to climb to 32 C (90 F).
The cold front will arrive Saturday night, bringing a period of rainfall followed by much lower temperatures.
After showers linger into Sunday morning, temperatures will be held to a high of 19 C (66 F) on Easter. A similar high is anticipated for Monday as some sunshine returns.

Melbourne
Warm and dry weather will hold across the Melbourne area into Sunday morning. Clouds will mix will sunshine on Saturday before winning out on Sunday. The risk for a shower or thunderstorm will return on Sunday afternoon, threatening to disrupt Easter festivities.
Saturday will be the warmest day of the holiday weekend with an afternoon high temperature of 28 C (83 F).
The warm and dry conditions will raise the risk for wildfires across Victoria during the holiday weekend. A bush fire near Mount Clear forced evacuations and destroyed one structure earlier this week, according to ABC News.
A cold front will trigger Sunday's unsettled weather. Cooler but dry weather will follow on Monday, when a high of 18 C (64 F) is expected.
Canberra

Daily high temperatures of 26 C (78-79 F) are forecast with a mixture of clouds and sunshine Saturday and Sunday.

Warm weather will also prevail throughout the Sydney area each day of the holiday weekend.
Daily high temperatures of 24-26 C (76-79 F) are in the forecast along with a mixture of clouds and sunshine.
