You just can't beat the view of a 3,000 feet drop into the Colorado River. There are also plenty of other national parks you can visit nearby that you can string together in one road trip.

You and your family will love to gaze at the wildlife and natural geysers like Old Faithful in Yellowstone. You will see fewer tourists in the springtime and have an opportunity to connect with nature along with your family. Just remember to check the weather forecast and dress warmly.
