Sunday update: storm snowfall forecast map
Quick update as I will be taking my 7 year old daughter to our annual father/daughter Valentines dance within the hour.

Storm still on track for Monday afternoon into Tuesday across Atlantic Canada. The worst of this storm will clearly be across Nova Scotia.
Blizzard conditions Monday evening/night across eastern Nova Scotia.
Storm will be much colder than the previous storm so that this is all snow. Snow will also be fairly dry for most areas, except southeast Nova Scotia and the Avalon Peninsula, thus power outages due to falling tress should be limited. However, colder storm means plenty of blowing and drifting with whiteout conditions.
Main storm for the Maritimes will be Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning and Monday night into Tuesday for Newfoundland.
Even though storm will be occluding, upper dynamics, slow-movement and amount of moisture should lead to impressive snow totals. Snow ratios will also be higher over interior Nova Scotia, interior Newfoundland, PEI and southeast New Brunswick.
The accumulations below are just for the first storm.A second, smaller system will impact the region Tuesday night and into Wednesday. I will worry about that later.
Off to the dance!
